Tuxedoed Strawberries from Gluten Free Goodness

Strawberries, although still out of season in most places in February, tend to make an appearance at Valentine’s Day. They’re red and sweet and they can be dressed up just enough to make them ideal treats for the holiday with heart. These Tuxedoed Strawberries from Cheryl of Gluten Free Goodness are one of those recipes that will make people “ooh” and “ahh” and make you look like a culinary whiz. Folks will want to know if you sell these by the dozen and if you’ll cater their next event. Yet Cheryl says they are easy to make. They look like little works of art, but the recipe calls for just four ingredients and one of them is optional. Plus, Cheryl uses her microwave to melt the chocolate for this recipe, which makes for quick work in producing these adorable sweet treats!

  1. Thanks so much for sharing these, Shirley! I just made a tray earlier today. We spent V-day in Santa Barbara a few years back where strawberries were in season, and they were absolutely amazing!

    • It’s my pleasure, Cheryl. Ooooh on making another tray of them! I can only imagine how great those fresh CA strawberries were. :-) And I’d love to be able to see into the homes of the AGFD and GFG readers and see how many folks made these for today! ;-)
