Sugared Cinnamon Almonds. They are one of the treats that I find irresistible when I see them—or smell them!—at fairs and craft shows. How about you? Are you a fan of those sweet crunchy candied nuts? Did you know you can make your Sugared Cinnamon Almonds in your slow cooker?
I didn’t either until Stephanie of A Year of Slow Cooking shared her recipe a few years ago. The ingredients are sugar, cinnamon, salt, egg white, vanilla extract, and almonds. These treats are easily made and, as Stephanie shared, they also easily disappear. So if you want to make these candied almonds as gifts, be sure to make them while nobody is at home!
Get Stephanie’s Sugared Cinnamon Almonds recipe over at A Year of Slow Cooking. By the way, Stephanie has proven time and time again that there’s virtually no recipe that you can’t make easily and very well in your slow cooker. Check out all her cookbooks, but especially her latest cookbook 365 Slow Cooker Suppers (4 1/2 stars on Amazon at the time of this post!).
