Christmas means cut-out cookies for many. Sugar Cookies, to be exact. There are actually a couple of different varieties of cookie dough that can be transformed into Christmas trees, reindeer, candy canes, snowmen, and more. But it’s usually sugar cookies that are most commonly hiding under butter cream frosting and colorful sprinkles.
When we go gluten free, those pretty and tasty decorated sugar cookies that others make are almost always off limits to us. Sugar cookies don’t have to be though. This simple gluten-free sugar cookie recipe from Linda, The Gluten-Free Homemaker, will have you dusting off your cookies cutters to do a practice run before you put out your best-looking ones for Santa. When you’re finally ready, don’t forget the glass of milk and a treat for the reindeer!
