Some of the most classic and best desserts in the entire world are naturally gluten free. Chocolate Mousse is one of them. In college, my girlfriends and I used to visit our local French restaurant mid-afternoon once or twice a week simply to enjoy their Chocolate Mousse. I still remember how amazing it tasted each and every time. That first bite of Chocolate Mousse is sublime for a chocolate lover. But we didn’t rush a single bite. We each savored our chocolate mousse. Of course, if you are eating your Chocolate Mousse “out” now that you are gluten free, be sure to verify the gluten-free status of ingredients and ensure that there are no gluten cross contact issues. But at home, it can really be quite easy to make great (and safe) Chocolate Mousse. Especially if you have this recipe from Zoe at Z’s Cup of Tea. Her recipe is gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free, and pretty easy to make. There are a few steps with separating the eggs and beating the whites and such, but honestly the hardest part of making this recipe will be waiting for it to chill enough to take that very first bite!
