Sunny of And Love It, Too! is one of the much appreciated folks in our gluten-free blogging community. You know … those bloggers who take old favorites and re-create them so that we and our family members can enjoy them safely once again. Sunny’s recipes are gluten free, grain free, and dairy free, as well as usually refined sugar free and paleo these days. This recipe for Chocolate Pecan “Toll House” Pie is one that Sunny shared for the Home for the Holidays event that I hosted last year.
With a few simple ingredient substitutions, Sunny gives us back one of our old favorites. “Everything old is new again.” And this time around, it is also healthier. But, luckily for us, Sunny’s version still offers the same indulgent taste. Her new version of Chocolate Pecan “Toll House” Pie offers proof once again that making a dessert allergen-free and healthier does not mean that one has to make any sacrifices!
