Chocolate Decadence from Lexie’s Kitchen
I’m trying to share more than chocolate recipes here as we approach Valentine’s Day, but similar to my ability to resist chocolate “in real life,” I simply can’t do it. So I think I’ll do what I do most often in those cases and just “go with it.” I have no doubt that you’ll approve my decision when it involves recipes like this flourless cake from Lexie (Lexie’s Kitchen) that she calls Chocolate Decadence—a gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, and egg-free sensation. (I personally have a long and very fond history with my own version of Flourless Chocolate Cake.) In addition to being free of so much that many can’t tolerate, Lexie’s Chocolate Decadence includes an ingredient that many know as a secret “weapon” in flourless chocolate-centric recipes. I wonder if you’ve baked with it yet? Last, Lexie says that her readers have adapted this recipe even further to meet their individual needs and they share their substitutions in comments, so please be sure to read the comment section as well as her recipe.

You stated it is egg-free, but I don’t see a recipe with the egg substitutions. Was that a mistake?
Hi Terry–Welcome to All Gluten-Free Desserts! Lexie’s recipe is egg free as written. I might have confused things by including a reference and link to my own flourless chocolate cake, which is not egg free. Click on the link at the bottom to get Lexie’s recipe. Enjoy!
