Mint Chocolate Brownie Decadence from My Gluten-Free Kitchen

You know the old saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” I think it’s certainly true of this photo of Mint Chocolate Brownie Decadence from Michelle of My Gluten-Free Kitchen. However, just in case you might have trouble with visual interpretation, I’ll add a few more to help you out. Multi-layered. Make ahead. Mint. Chocolate. Brownies. In Michelle’s words: “A fudgy brownie topped with a layer of mint icing and topped with a smooth layer of dark chocolate… um, yes please.” I say, “Ditto” on that last part!

Lucky Seven Recipes for National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day 2013

While everyone has his or her own idea of the ideal Chocolate Chip Cookie, I thought I’d share all the ones we have on All Gluten-Free Desserts at the moment. They run the gamut … traditional Toll House-style gluten-free cookies … rum-enhanced cookies that conjure visions of Johnny Depp … a double chocolate chip quinoa combo … traditional “real deal,” but grain free chocolate chip cookies … grain-free, bacon-enhanced chocolate chip cookies … and finally chocolate chip-speckled meringues and coconut chocolate chip macaroons. Sometimes the very best thing one can do to any cookie recipe is to add chocolate chips, don’t you think? Go ahead and find your new favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe!

Peanut Butter and Nutella Cookies from Simply Gourmet

These Peanut Butter and Nutella Cookies from Sherron at Simply Gourmet are sure to thrill all of you who love that combination. These are a slight variation of the flourless peanut butter cookies that so many love. In addition to peanut butter, Nutella, and a single egg, this recipe includes both granulated sugar and brown sugar, some oatmeal (remember to use certified gluten-free oats!), and coarse salt. I love Sherron’s thumbprint presentation, because it not only makes for a very appealing cookie, but it also means that only a small amount of Nutella is required. You only need 1/4 cup for the whole batch of cookies. Enjoy!
