Cara of Fork and Beans has done us all such a huge favor by creating this 4th of July Watermelon Cake! Most of us do not want to turn on the oven right now. Correction … some of us absolutely refuse to turn on the oven. Let’s face it, turning to recipes that focus on the bounty of summer and alternative methods can be such a nice change of pace, and a healthier one, too! Traditional baked goods can weigh us down.
